NORTHERN LIGHTS PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

The Northern Lights is beautiful but ever-changing and amazing. The purpose of this photography workshop is to show you how to capture Aurora in all its beauty and awesomeness.

What we’ll do

We’ll learn the Northern Lights camera settings. I’ll show you how to research the area, how to find excellent features for the foreground like rocks, water, and background. I’ll help you set the correct shutter speed, aperture, and ISO and focused. Also, I will take some photos and edit them after the workshop and send you by email (LR preset included).

7 days a week.

Northern Lights Photo Workshop starts 1h after sunset. Workshop duration of 4-5 hours. It depends on the weather, Northern Lights activity.

Location we’ll be

We’ll be “hunted” for Aurora on the seashore on the most beautiful beaches like Haukland, Uttakleiv, Myrland, etc. And of course in Reine. I ask you to pay attention that our program depends on the weather. In any case, we will discuss what you would like to shoot.

Fitness level

All fitness level. We have not hard hiking. Our car will be next to us and we will bask if necessary. Hot tea and coffee included.

Skill level

To this photography workshop, you must have skills in camera handling. You need to know how to change aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.

But if you have any difficulties I will be with you and help.

What to bring

1. Camera with extra batteries and memory cards.
2. Wide-angle lenses 16-35 or 24-70.
3. Tripod.
4. Headlamp.
5. Microfibre cloths (2-3).
6. Сable release.

What to wear

The Layering System.

1. Waterproof jacket and pants.
2. Waterproof boots.
3. Wellingtons (optional).
4. Warm jacket.
5. Warm hat.
6. Gloves.

Group limit

It’s premium individual photography workshops available from private to 3 students. 

How to booking

For short tours, I ask for full immediate payment at the time of booking.

However, if you place a booking and then change your plan you can cancel your reservation without fees within 7 days from the booking date.

All bookings are private, i.e. if you book as a group, then it’s a private group, I won’t add any other students.
