Nocturne in Venice

Nocturne in Venice is a very significant photo project. Like Loneliness Space, this series is very intimate to me. In the Nocturne photo project in Venice I showed not only the city, but also a little more.
Has anyone heard the sound of footsteps on San Marco?
We used to see the city in the afternoon. And we don’t know what the city looks like when everyone’s asleep. For a week, I’d wake up every day two hours before sunrise and go take pictures of Venice at night. This gallery is the result of my work on this project.
The quiet streets, the canals, the silence and tranquility around it. I am alone with my favorite city. I felt a huge energy. I couldn’t be stopped by rain or floods. I walked around the city like an obsessed man and took pictures of my favorite views.
Even before the shoot, I knew it would be a monochrome photo project. The black and white image is self-sufficient. We see history out of time in black and white photos. That was my goal.
After dawn, I went to my apartment near San Marco, went to bed or had breakfast. And I waited for the next morning to come out again. At one point, I felt a complete union with the spirit of Venice. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
I hope this gallery will inspire you to visit Venice. I will wait for you there.
