About
I’m a landscape photographer with over 14 years of experience. My art is focused on the landscapes of Scandinavia and the Lofoten Islands. Since 2012, I constantly shoot on Lofoten at different times of the year. I’m the author of the Lofoten Islands photo and travel guide and provide workshops for photographers and tourists.
What we’ll do
In photography lessons, you will learn about camera settings, composition basics, workflow and photography techniques. Each photo seminar is filled with information to help you learn how to take photographs.
I will show you how to explore the area, how to find places, and what to look for.
Option
Available FROM 25 JANUARY 2021 TO 25 MARCH 2021
There are two options for the workshops:
1. Northern Lights Workshop starts 1h after sunset. This one is for the Northern Lights photography 4-5 hours’ workshop.
2. Daylight Seascape Workshop starts after sunrise at the selected time. Timing 4-5 hours.
Group limit
There are premium individual 1-day photography workshops from private to 3 students.
Fitness level
All locations are easy difficulty. We will be shooting a short walk from the parking lot. 1-day photo workshops are available for people of any fitness level.
Skill level
All workshops are available for any skill levels. In any case, I’ll always help you.
What do I need to bring
- Camera with extra batteries and memory cards.
- Lenses: wide, mid-range and telephoto optional.
- Tripod.
- Headlamp.
- Microfibre cloths.
- Сable release.
- Filters ND, grad ND, polarizer optional.
What do I need to wear
The Layering System.
- Waterproof jacket and pants.
- Waterproof boots.
- Wellingtons (optional).
- Warm jacket.
- Warm hat.
- Gloves.
Where can I stay
Our one-day photography workshops take place in the southern part of the Lofoten Islands and start in Leknes. The 1-day photography workshop ends late in the evening or begins early in the morning, so you’ll need to spend the night somewhere nearby.

How to book, pay and cancel
For short tours, we ask for full immediate payment at the time of booking. However, if you place a reservation and then change your plan, you can cancel your reservation with no fees within 7 days of booking.
All bookings are private, i.e. if you book as a group it is a private group, I will not add any other students.
