The Bay of Biscay attracts many landscape photographers.
I like to shoot on the beach. I usually take pictures of northern nature. But I decided to go on a trip. I bought a plane ticket, took all the necessary equipment and went on a trip.
The coast of the Bay of Biscay is a great region for travel. It’s pretty much the whole north coast of Spain.
I didn’t have a goal to go through the whole route. So I limited myself to traveling the Basque Country, Cantabria and Asturias. But this part of the coast was enough to make this photo album.
I was attracted by the relatively unknown fame of the scenery in these parts. The weather was warm but changeable. But what I liked most was the unusually high tides. The tides in these places reach a height of 5-7 meters. These tides change the landscape of the sea coast beyond recognition. What else do you need for inspiration?
Above all, these are huge beaches. The water recedes for 300-400 meters, exposing the sandy coast. It’s nice just to take a walk. The coastline is equally attractive. Fancy stone ridges coming out of the sea, remnants of stone, waves, stunningly beautiful sunsets. And warm Spanish evenings.
The coastline of the Bay of Biscay is very long. Maybe I haven’t seen any interesting places. And I want to take some more beautiful pictures. So, I’m going to continue my journey along the Bay of Biscay.
